Relationships shape how we see ourselves and the world—sometimes bringing closeness, sometimes repeating conflict and distance. The strategies that once protected you can become barriers to the intimacy you want now. This work helps make those patterns visible so you can experiment with new ways of setting boundaries, using language, and staying present in connection. The change doesn’t happen to you—it happens through you, one choice at a time.

Connection without self-abandonment.

Negotiating Relationships

The insight felt clear in the moment, but then you returned to your life and the old patterns returned with it. You come out of ceremony with a new sense of possibility, but your nervous system, your habits, and your relationships still operate from the old map. That gap creates friction. Sometimes it leads to clarity. Other times, to frustration, shame, or the urge to go back for more medicine. Integration is not just about processing the experience itself—it’s about learning how to meet the moments that reactivate old material in new ways.

The real ceremony is not what happens in a single night—it’s what unfolds in the days, relationships, and choices that follow.

Where I Focus My Work

Cancer and serious illness impact not only the body but identity, relationships, and the sense of what the future holds. After 13 years in oncology working with patients and families across every stage and tumor type, I know these situations intimately. You don’t need sympathy, but someone who understands the experience, and can sit with life-and-death realities to help you navigate the choices and fears, so you can recognize your capacity to adapt under impossible circumstances. This work supports both patients and loved ones by creating space to metabolize what can’t be carried alone, make hard decisions, and to begin shaping new meaning in a life forever changed.

Illness is more than a diagnosis—it’s a disruption of meaning.

In your line of work, stress is often a badge of honor and silence is part of the culture. But human beings aren’t built to hold the weight of the world without consequence. That load shows up in the body, sleep, mood, and the relationships waiting at home. This work creates space to offload what you’ve been carrying, reset your nervous system, and support your biology by clearing toxins, restoring sleep, improving mood, and steadying focus. Healing doesn’t blunt your edge—it frees your hands so you can keep doing the work, without being buried under it.

Carrying others through crisis comes at a cost.

Neurodiverse brains work differently—and in a world built for neurotypical patterns, that difference can create friction. Without support, it’s easy to internalize the belief that you’re “bad” at certain things or incapable of the life you sense is possible. With the right strategies, though, intention becomes action. Together, we build practical systems that harness motivation and reward, buffer against stress and overwhelm, and steady mood and focus. The aim is not to make you fit a mold, but to help you create a way of living that works with your wiring and supports your potential.

From inner battle to inner alliance—working with your mind, not against it.

Sometimes we look at our lives and feel the gap between where we are and where we hoped to be. In those moments, perspective can narrow such that the path forward feels limited. This work opens a space to see situations from new angles, so we can navigate both the aspects of life that are outside our control (other people) and see how the agency of choice shapes the response. Together, we work compassionately and gently with the patterns that keep you stuck and find strategies that move you forward—so the next version of your life reflects not just circumstance, but intention and alignment.

Change brings both disruption and possibility.

FAQS

You don’t have to know for sure. If something in you resonates with what you’ve read—if you feel like you’ve done the work, or tried to, and you're still coming up against the same internal walls—this may be a space worth exploring. You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear explanation. Just a sense that something needs to shift, and a willingness to be part of that process.

The consult is a low-pressure space to ask questions, name what’s bringing you here, and get a feel for whether the work is a good match. You don’t need to prepare anything. We keep it simple and focused on clarity and intention.

I work with people who are thoughtful, often high-functioning, and quietly stuck. Many have done therapy, coaching, or internal work before. Some are navigating transitions, grief, burnout, or patterns they can’t seem to shift. Others are integrating big insights—sometimes from psychedelic experiences, sometimes from life itself. I also work with athletes and performers under pressure—people who need clarity, focus, and resilience in high-stakes environments. If you have a specific diagnosis, are experiencing more severe symptoms, or are in crisis, I recommend you start by scheduling an appointment through the psychiatry practice, IBHM.

Yes, as long as everyone involved is clear on scope. If you're already working with a therapist or psychiatrist, this can complement that work, especially if you're looking for more structure, integration, or direction. I don't replace your existing providers. But if there's space for a different kind of support, we can explore how this might fit alongside what you're already doing.

Through IBHM, I am contracted with Anthem, Aetna, Blue Shield of CA, Cigna, Optum, Magellan, and Medicare. Patients are responsible for ensuring in-network coverage. Fees are based on your policy’s deductible and copay. IBHM does offer out of pocket rates, refer to IBHM’s financial policy for details.

All coaching sessions are held virtually over a secure video platform. If we’re working together through IBHM, sessions can be held either virtually or in person, depending on what’s appropriate and available.

Yes. All coaching sessions are held virtually. For clinical work through IBHM, you can choose between virtual or in-person sessions depending on your needs and location.

Clients work with me either weekly or every other week, depending on what’s appropriate for the pace and depth of the work. Sessions are paid for monthly, and it’s your responsibility to use the sessions within that month. If you need to cancel, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. I’ll do my best to accommodate changes, but missed or late-canceled sessions generally count toward your monthly total. Sessions don’t roll over, but if you need to reschedule or double up within the month, we’ll make that work when possible.

Sometimes. This work is designed with a structure and pace that keeps the pressure low so you can see results. Change doesn’t happen overnight, it happens over time. I offer a limited number of single sessions for integration support, decision-making, or when a single conversation can bring clarity. One-off sessions are priced accordingly—not because they aren’t valuable, but because real change usually requires more than one conversation.
